If you want to relax, go for a swim in the sea or a lake, go for a walk in the woods, and at the same time you want to be close to the Tri-City (Gdynia, Sopot, Gdansk)or be able to go to the cinema, you have chosen the best place. Lubiatowo, although it seems to be at the "end of the world", is nevertheless the part of the Wejherowo poviat from which everything is close.

First, the Baltic sea. That is the main reason why people come here from all over Poland. "Amber Domki Letniskowe" resort is located about a mile away from the beach. A nice 20 minute walk while inhaling the smell of coastal pines and you are there. Of course, the beach can also be reached on two wheels, by one of the many cycling routes. The sandy beach, several dozen meters wide, is considered one of the most beautiful on the Baltic coast. It stretches for many kilometers in this part of the coast, revealing its beauty and secrets. One of them is the Słowiński National Park, located on the eastern side, with impressive sand dunes, which reveals the former training camp of the famous African Corps and post-German rocket launchers. By road from Lubiatów it is around 40 km away, but you can take a full-day bike trip, along the beach, (about 27 km), which will take about 5.5 hours. You must also see Sasino, 10 km away with the palace and park complex, and from there only 3 kilometers separate us from the picturesque Stilo lighthouse. Of course, you can reach the lighthouse by the beach, which will take us an hour and a half (about 7 km). To the east, on Cape Rozewie (28 km beach distance), there is another lighthouse, probably the most famous. Its light not only helps ships take the right course, but the tower stands majestically on a high sea cliff, like a border poll, marks the northernmost part of our homeland. If we go there on foot, we will have to cross the Piaśnica River, which flows into the sea from Żarnowieckie Lake just before Dębki. In the summer, when the water level is low, we can see the pre-war Polish border post between Germany and Poland driven into its shore.

The closest attraction that is worth mentioning is Gniewino (15 km) with a beautiful observation tower from which you can see Lake Żarnowieckie, the Baltic sea and the town which hosted the Euro 2012 Spanish representation.

In the vicinity of Lubiatów we will find many palaces like the abandoned and mysterious cemeteries, on which there are often cast iron crosses with names written in German Gothic. It is a perfect place for lovers of puzzles and stories that can be told to children. With certainty they will be willing to hear about the way of living of the Kashubia and Słowińce in these lands , who for centuries cultivating tradition have kept their own identity.

For lovers of history and monuments, we especially recommend one of the oldest northern villages of Kashubia, Osieki Lęborskie. The church has, among others, a 12th century baptismal font, designating the beginning of the village. Finally, Lubiatowo is a great starting point for one-day car trips to Gdańsk, Gdynia or Wejherowo with the famous Kalwaria, to Lębork, Kartuz and Kościerzyna, as well as to the Hel Peninsula. Although this last point is only for the brave and the patient. Arriving and returning in the summer will sometimes take much longer than just visiting the many attractions. Within reach, and without traffic jams, is the Museum of the Slovinian Village in Kluki. Less than 60 km from Lubiatów, we will immerse ourselves in another world. At first, just breathe deeply to feel the beneficial effects of iodine (especially asthmatics and allergy sufferers). You will taste here delicious fried sea fish and take advantage of the possibility of horse riding. By taking a walk in the woods you will meet deer, foxes and wild boars, and with a bit of luck you will find amber stones on the sandy beach. Of course, for a change, you can go for a swim in the Choczewskie or Kopaliński lakes, and go for blueberry and mushroom picking in the surrounding woods. Another beautiful attraction is the must see sunset that can be observer from the beautiful Lubiatowo beach. The view is insane ... We recommend it especially to those in love, regardless of age ...
